What is the Delegate Certificate Service (DCS)?

When a professional has completed either a training course, webinar, educational event or other form of learning, a CPD certificate of attendance provides confirmation that the training has been completed by an individual as part of their Continuing Professional Development requirements at their professional body or association. A CPD certificate of attendance is typically obtained from structured CPD, which is considered formal learning, and includes training courses, workshops, seminars, educational events and online eLearning programs that have been CPD accredited to conform to industry guidelines and standards.

Why is a CPD certificate of attendance important?

A CPD certificate is important as it helps a professional body ensure that an individual has completed an appropriate level of further learning, and they are improving their capabilities in a structured, practical and relevant way for their role and industry.

How does The Delegate Certificate Service (DCS) work?

The Delegate Certificate Service (DCS) has been designed to provide support with issuing CPD Certificates, helping to significantly save on both the time and cost of post-training admin. The Delegate Certificate Service is an additional benefit available to all members of The CPD Certification Service at no extra cost. We currently issue over 500,000+ CPD delegate certificates on behalf of our members each year.

Once a certified training course or event has taken place, you provide us with the attendee details and training information. We can then issue your delegates with a digitally verified CPD certificate of attendance via the myCPD Portal, displaying the relevant training details and CPD hours. CPD certificates feature our recognised 'CPD Certified' trademark, providing confirmation of an individual's undertaken training and can be used towards their annual Continuing Professional Development obligations.
